The Short Explanation

The problem: Our democratic method (and not just ours) has "broken down". It does not work sufficiently well. The output, i.e. the level of services that the civilians receives, is extremely poor. There is a sense of neglect; a feeling that there aren’t sufficient solutions. Everything has become personal. Or tribal. Or emotional. There's no platform, it's a good time for lobbyists, everything is either "black" or "white", there's no discourse… The method (and sometimes the nature of the those who are elected) encourages/produces distance, to the point of detachment between us and our elected officials.

If only to be able to survive, the elected officials are forced to connect (or pay attention) to power centers such as capital, media, social media, workers' unions, "political machines", etc. Even the "good ones" find it difficult to make a difference. Elected officials often have to distance themselves from their values – and to vote according to political considerations. There is an unpleasant sensation of "disconnection", "Big Brother", "children's kindergarten", disorder and unabashed corruption.

The solution: To create a leadership that is connected to us and to its own values.

Through technology, we can do this easily and naturally! We’ll set up a political-social network, owned by its members, that will organize ourselves, by ourselves ,for ourselves.

Through The Tulipical network, "connected" leaders will grow, keeping in mind that first and foremost – they are our representatives.

At the same time, The Tulipical network will become a healthy and ongoing mechanism for civilian collaborations. We shall focus on things on which there is a wide consensus, and there are many of those. And we might begin with the easy ones, in order to succeed.

Every citizen (or a small group of citizens) will be invited

Either

• To set up a Tulipical Home by phrasing and publishing a short and ideological platform on 3 issues at least (+ a short C.V. & a picture.)

Or

• To join a Tulipical Home.

To maintain intimacy & decentralization of power a Tulipical Home can include up to 180 citizens.  A home that is too "full" will be split, while maintaining the platform.

Thus, in a dynamic and flexible process, we shall "array ourselves" politically. Few will set up homes, while the majority (over 99%) will find themselves a home, with people who share their political values; a home whose founders = leaders are appreciated; Today, in most cases, in public elections we vote for someone with whom we don't really agree completely. This time, we're giving our voice, 24/7, to someone real, someone who really shares our opinions, someone we really appreciate, someone we are directly connected to. A kind of political mediator.

Since the strength of every Tulipical Home founder (/representative) will be weighed according (/in direct connection to) the number of members in its Tulipical Home – everyone has a voice. Everyone influence merely by reinforcing his/her home leader.

Thus, our concern is turned into influence!

The Tulipical Way is solving the problem of the Free Riders (the busy / lazy ones who do not support the collective action) – by being completely flexible and voluntary with no obligation! nothing is compulsory, you may leave or switch your Tulipical Home whenever you feel like, you do not have to attend meetings, etc. Being in a Tulipical Home is enough for Being in the game. It is designed for (and by) the 'public issues' passive ones (most of us)!

That’s make The Tulipical Way (relatively) very easy to implement – put it into action.

The Tulipical Homes that will be built will be the basis of the "Tulipical Network": A political-social network, owned and managed by its members, that will focus solely on this political organization and will of-course enable discussions, votes and anything else that is required.

The Homes Council, with its various committees, will manage the whole initiative and in particular the Tulipical Network.

The Homes Council will be comprised of representatives from all Tulipical Homes (/streets /neighborhoods)*. As aforesaid, the strength of every representative from every Tuli

pical Home (/Street /Neighborhood) will be weighted according to the number of members in the Home (/Streets /Neighborhoods) that he represents.

* Streets and neighborhoods are internal unions that will be formed along the way. (later on)

The Homes Council will be conducted democratically and will only proceed in cases of broad agreement (75%).

The roles of the Homes Council: Further formulation of the Tulipical Way, managing the Internet site (=the network), receiving new Home founders, mediating in cases of conflict, spokesmanship, etc. The crowning glory will be leading the civilian collaborations in favor of improving the reality (later on).

Hundreds of thousands of civilians – arrayed orderly according to their views, enlisted to act to improve reality and create a connected leadership = The Tulipical Way – is a GAME CHANGER!

Once tens of thousands have joined, we'll begin forming collaborations to improve reality. We shall form collaborations for the purpose of tasks, in various topics, that will receive the broadest agreement.

We shall find the tasks that receive the broadest agreement in the following way:

1. Every Tulipical Home will create lists of tasks, according to topics.
2. In every topic – we shall combine all the lists into one list of tasks, comprehensive and prioritized.

Thus, in every topic, we shall receive a prioritized list of tasks!

1. and B. can be repeated several times, in order to refine the lists and make them more accurate.

Naturally, when more and more Homes will be formed, in order to become more efficient and to make a difference – Tulipical Homes that are sufficiently similar will come together – based on a common platform – to form a Tulipical Street.

Later on, Tulipical Streets will come together – based on a common platform – to form a Tulipical Neighborhood. When hundreds of thousands join and a sufficiently large Tulipical Neighborhood is formed, it will be able to register as a political party and to enter the Knesset.

Even partial success of this phenomenon will be cause for worry, for the existing political parties, and they will have to become "Tulipicals" themselves = arranged by views and connected (downwards) to all party members for the purpose of discussions, votes, etc.

When a Tulipical Neighborhood will enter the Knesset, it won't cancel its membership in the Tulipical Network! On the contrary, the Tulipical Network (a civilian organization) and the Tulipical Party (a partner in the government institutes) will help each other!

The Tulipical Way is a simple way of turning caring into influence. In the Tulipical Way, each and every one of us shall reinforce, 24/7, someone that we find to be worthy and appreciated. Thus, we shall Organize Ourselves, By Ourselves, For Ourselves, and will shall do it with fun and for the long term…

These days

We are seeking the 108 first Tulipical Home Founders.

Together, we shall launch the initiative.
